Putkhali Ichhamati River is located in Bangladesh and India Simandh in Ward No. 2 of Putkhali Union in the 5th place of Sharsha Thana. Since the Ichhamati river is 14 feet taller than the Mathabhanga, and six-inch lower than the churning Mathabhanga. In the dry season, the height of the water level of the Mathabhanga is more than the Padma and hence no water in Ichhamati does not enter. Since this is necessary only for both India and Bangladesh, both of them need to agree.
